This month....Shadows, Hearts, and Friendship are some fun topics that we will cover in February. February 7th and 8th are Board Game Days. If your child has a favorite board game, please bring it on these days to share! Our Valentine's Day Celebration will be on February 14, 2012. Please bring Valentine's for all of your friends! I sent an email out with all of their names. So far, the winter weather has allowed us to play outside but just in case we are ready with lots of fun indoor activities!
Last month the children had fun with arctic animals, winter, and hibernation. The bears we made will come out of their cave in the Spring when it's time to plant our garden.

We will still be outside daily as long as it is not raining. The courtyard will also be used when weather permits for picnics, art and science projects outside.
By using a method called "intentional teaching, as your children participate in activities and play we learn math, literacy, social emotional skills and much more!

Recipe Ideas
We try to make a variety of healthy snacks and lunches for the children but we are always looking for new ideas. If there is a favorite dish that your children just love, please share it with us!
Field Trips
Our trip to the Sacramento Children's Museum was amazing! We all had a great time! Thank you for making that long trip. It was worth it.
I will send details for our Summer field trip as soon as possible.
Please Check
Please remember to check your child's cubby for extra clothes. The weather is changing and they will need warmer clothes!
